Through partnerships with both local and international organizations, the Association of Sister Cities of Palmdale has done an amazing job with assisting in whatever is needed. Recently, we collaborated with Tumbleweed Elementary in Palmdale in which they collected close to 800 pounds of school supplies. With the help of our association, we were able to pick up and ship those supplies over to an elementary school in Poncitlan, Jalisco Mexico where there was a need for assistance. Now both schools visit each other via zoom and have kids in the US interact with kids in Mexico, all part of their learning curriculums.
